Palace of Westminster (Christmas Tree)

L&B Technical Services have been undertaking the erection of the Christmas trees for the Palace of Westminster since 2009. Standing at the foot of Big Ben, the annual installation has become a well-renowned feature of parliament and attracts attention from residents and tourists alike.

Our works year on year typically include:

• Gathering all necessary security passes, lifting plans and paperwork
• The erection of the Christmas trees in Westminster Hall and on New Palace Yard
• Supplying and maintaining the star and festoon lights
• Installing and removing all lights
• All required tree works
• Onsite removal and chipping
• Cleaning up
• Disposing of the tree in an environmentally conscious manner
