This job involved replacing and refitting the palace’s boosted cold water system to ensure a constant supply of pressurised water throughout the building.
The project spec included:
- Developing all the required design works and gaining full sign-off through the Design Authority
- Fabricating (at shop and onsite) and installing 1520m of galvanised tray work, which was fitted horizontally and vertically throughout the premises
- Sequentially removing the existing equipment in each of the 4 tank rooms
- Installing new boosted cold water systems in these 4 tank rooms
- Carrying out BMS works
- Testing and commissioning (following the full ATP process)
Timeframes were tight, but our team ensured the replacement system was handed over on time.
