Managing Director

After a career in heavy industrial installations and relocations, including M&E works and delivering multi-million-pound projects, Andrew formed L&B Technical Services Ltd in 2006. Working with the likes of KPMG, LGT Vestra, Palace of Westminster, Deutsche Bank, CBRE and BDP on M&E projects, Andrew has a deep knowledge of the services we offer and promotes a pro-active ,”total team” approach to L&B that provides clients with technical M&E projects and are delivered on time and budget. 

Commercial Director

Matt has gained broad knowledge and experience throughout his 30+ year career in commercial and industrial installations and M&E works. He enjoyed senior positions in several high-profile companies before bringing his unique insight to L&B as our Commercial Director. Matt is committed to ensuring excellent project outcomes, maintaining strong customer satisfaction levels, and achieving continual growth for our business.

Finance Director

With over 20 years’ finance experience, Kerry brings expertise in purchase ledger, credit control, and reconciliations. Known for her proactive, trustworthy, and can-do approach, Kerry plays a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency while supporting the wider business with professionalism, loyalty, and dedication.

M&E Revit Technician

Jane boasts more than 30 years’ experience in mechanical, electrical and structural design. She produces information in a variety of disciplines – including M&E, HVAC, fire protection, and structural steelwork – and provides O&M manuals and survey reports for our clients. She is proficient in the latest AutoCAD software and uses Revit to deliver modelling projects that require more in-depth 3D coordination, clash detection, and integration into BIM.

Accounts Assistant

Janette has built a varied career in accounts, with experience in the City, shipping, and historic/classic automobiles. With 10 years’ accounting experience, she joined L&B Technical Services in 2022, where she supports the Finance Director across all areas of finance, including purchase ledger management, credit control, and office administration. She also manages staff expenses and is responsible for coordinating and controlling client security passes, as well as overseeing the vetting procedures required for projects.

Operations Manager

Drawing his enthusiasm and people skills from his varied career, Jan is a flexible, proactive and forward-thinking Service Manager. Jan’s projects are varied in terms of the type of work he carries out and the clients he liaises with. His core roles, however, are to manage projects and oversee staff provision, all while making sure that materials are available at the point of use. His willingness to develop himself professionally means Jan is always expanding his skillset.

Commercial Manager

Jayne is a dedicated professional with over 10 years’ experience in the construction industry, working both in the office and on-site. She has strong client-facing communication and negotiation skills and is proficient in managing budgets, analysing reports, and understanding profit and loss to support financial targets. Jayne’s previous accounting experience makes her a strong fit with the rest of the team.

Contract Manager

Robert has more than 10 years’ experience in the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors, and is particularly skilled in managing installation and maintenance works to impeccable standards. With an innate understanding of business’s needs, Robert is particularly adept at ensuring works in live premises are conducted in a way that causes minimal disruption to our clients’ operations. He is fully qualified electrically and to F Gas regulations.

Project Manager

Paul works closely with all parties to ensure the coordinated delivery of his projects through expert resource allocation, programme control, and technical support. Most notably, he was involved with a number of successful projects at the Deutsche Bank estate. He is NICEIC qualified and has many years’ experience in signing off quality electrical and mechanical projects in commercial and industrial environments.

Project Supervisor

Practical, reliable and a great communicator, Andy has worked in the construction industry throughout his entire career. Now, he is responsible for supervising staff, coordinating materials and services supply, managing the necessary paperwork, and ensuring compliance obligations are met across a wide range of works across a diverse client portfolio.

Project Supervisor

Paul’s extensive site supervisory experience, enthusiasm for achieving job fulfilment, and ongoing self-development in all areas combine to make him a very flexible, proactive individual who our customers enjoy working with. Paul’s forte lies in his logistical supply control, specifically his ability to ensure deliveries to multiple sites simultaneously, regardless of time constraints and often outside of standard working hours.

Contracts Manager

Karl is responsible for L&B’s passive fire protection, diamond drilling, and concrete cutting contracts and installations. His role covers the entire process, from tendering through to onsite installation, FIRAS sign-off, documentation, and final handover to the client. With his qualifications and over 35 years of experience on prestigious heritage projects, Karl has a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects and consistently meets the strict requirements of clients.

Welding Sales & Gas Inspector

Thomas oversees L&B Technical’s Welding Division in Peterborough, managing both sales and services for a growing customer base. He began his career in the abrasives and refinishing industry straight out of school before moving into welding supplies and services in 2024. Bringing a practical, customer-focused approach to the role, Thomas is also CP7 and CP47 certified, carrying out gas inspections to ensure systems remain safe, compliant, and efficient.
